We’re a husband and wife photography team photographing weddings all over middle Tennessee and beyond. In a nutshell, we love Jesus, being married, spending time with our families, a good cup of coffee, belly laughs, editing in our pj's, and traveling to new places together.
We think weddings are great, but we think marriage is even better. We’re so passionate about what we do. And what is better than celebrating two happy people in love every weekend? Well, not much. Except getting to do that together and then come home to snuggle.
the reason we love what we do is because of the people and the relationships we get to form.
I married a good man. Michael looks out for the better of all people, and he’s so calm, patient, and positive. He can be a quiet guy, but his actions pick up where his words leave off. I make fun of and call him the housewife because he's the one doing the dishes or sweeping the floors. I love that he doesn't care what anyone else thinks of him - that's powerful and bold, and something I admire. On any Saturday we're not working, Michael is sleeping in until noon, brunching with me, then cheering on the Nashville Preds at a game in downtown. Every day he makes me want to live more carelessly, dream bigger, and have more fun in life!
Erin can usually be found balancing her coffee in one hand while unapologetically busting a move in our living room. She’s not afraid to go against the grain, and she appreciates the little things in life more than anyone I know. Whether she’s planning our next wildest adventure or planning a blanket fort sleepover in our living room, she can make anything, or anyone feel special. If Erin had a free Saturday, she would be found on the couch in her pj’s eating all the bacon and drinking all the coffee, followed by an afternoon hike and watching the sunset in our Eno. She is always adding creativity and spontaneity to our lives, and a plant to our living room.
Michael asked me out on our first date using a camera lens cap and memory card. Super corny story. Just ask.
We both love people watching and could definitely sit in an airport or mall for hours and just watch people.
Erin kills the houseplants. Michael (tries to) bring them back to life.
Michael is now the pourover coffee expert. Every morning I make breakfast and he makes fancy coffee in his Chemex, and it leaves our lil apartment smelling like a coffee shop.
We’re in love with the Pacific Northwest. We visited La Push Beach (Google it) and hiked all over the Olympic National Park one summer. And for our honeymoon we traveled the coast of Oregon. We’re convinced it’s the most magical place.
We’re both suckers for handwritten vows, and we (Well, just Erin) will cry during your wedding ceremony when you read your vows.
We got married on August 12, 2018 and it was the happiest day of our lives.
We both studied Journalism and New Media at a small Christian university in Nashville, Tennessee. Go Bisons!
Erin grew up in a very musical home. Michael grew up in a very sports-oriented home. We’re working on teaching each other a little bit about the other every day.
We freakin’ love LOVE. We love PDA. We love soulmates. We love married life.
We’ve photographed over one hundred weddings, so we’ve seen a thing or two – storms delaying the day, buttons falling off, bridesmaids passing out, timelines running behind. Here’s the thing: on your wedding day, we’re all for you, and we will do everything in our power to make sure your day goes smoothly.
You see, the reason we love what we do is because of the people and the relationships we get to form. We make people the focus of our work – we love making a relaxed and fun photography experience, and we have a very special way of capturing your loved ones in a candid way. And, we will hold Grandma’s hand if she needs help down the stairs.
We’re all about the real. We approach portraits in a fun and relaxed way. We're always going for a good mix of classic candids, with real movement and emotion, and the photos of you looking at the camera that your grandkids will admire one day. Ultimately, we want you to look and feel like yourselves.
We’re with you every step of the way – everything from the planning process to the final product. We’ll give you all our best tips, guide you to our favorite vendors, and help you craft the best timeline for your day. We also want you to get your photos in tangible form - to hold, share, and display in your home. We will create these tangibles for you or put you in the hands of some companies we love and trust for prints and products.
