Ashton and Chris // engaged

These two met me in the North Cascades at Diablo Lake overlook for an engagement session during my recent trip to Seattle, Washington. I will be sharing more from my trip later but right now I am so excited to share this session. I had been looking forward to it for a LONG TIME. And it was everything I had imagined. The Pacific Northwest has always been one of those dream spots that I have wanted to shoot in and it just so happened that through some mutual friends at Lipscomb, I got connected with Ashton and Chris who live in the Seattle area.

They’re both finishing up their last year at Seattle Pacific University and look to start grad school and get married next year. They are such a fun, outdoorsy couple. They both grew up in the PNW and love hiking, camping and just being outside. I mean how could you not living there?!

It was the first day of class freshman year when Ashton tapped Chris on the shoulder to ask what the news was, because he walked in holding a newspaper. From there, he started bringing a newspaper to class more often.. Which eventually led to more study sessions, walks around campus, their first date to get frozen yogurt, I love you’s, a ring… and now they’re getting married next summer! Yay!
