Here lies the photos of some dear friends who celebrated two years of being married on the first of November. I watched them say their vows and I’ve caught glimpses of what they’ve accomplished together since then and it’s been such a beautiful thing to watch.

Knowing that their anniversary was coming up, I decided to ask if they would be up for me to experiment with film for a fun styled anniversary shoot. Of course, Shelby and Lincoln are the type of free-spirited, artistic people that encourage me to run wild and play in any matter, but especially with film.. So that’s just what we did.

Back over the summer I got a new-to-me film camera and I had only used it for travel, landscape photos, etc. I was waiting for the perfect opportunity to bring it out during a couples session. Shelby is also a photographer, and is always so encouraging when it comes to the art. It was so sweet to have her warm, gentle spirit joined with her talented musician husband in front of my camera.
